Founded in 1989, servicing both cars and commercial vehicles at Waterhouses Garage, WG Tanker has been on a fascinating journey, leading to what we have become today.
1991 – We entered a service and maintenance partnership with the large cement works at Cauldon.
This operation grew quickly, and over the first year saw the entire Cauldon fleet being serviced and maintained by WG Tankers. Other tanker fleet operators within the area soon took notice and sought our services too.
1992 – WG Tanker proudly became a Feldbinder UK Service Partner supporting the UK sales, service, warranty and specialist repairs throughout the UK & Ireland.
Over the years WG Tankers have worked in partnership with Feldbinder. The shared knowledge has supported growth within the companies own people through inspired personal development which helps to maintain the foundations of what we work on today.
Since the early days, we have evolved into leading suppliers and installations experts of pressure discharge and vacuum equipment in the dry bulk industry with over 100 highly skilled employees with a combined 300+ years of experience.
In the time since our inception we have also earned premier partnership status from GHH Rand and have also become an authorised in warranty repairs for Feldbinder and ZVVZ.
With all that in mind, it’s fair to say that we have come a long way since our humble beginnings.

The Road Transport Expo 2024 (or RTX), is a dedicated event that offers a platform for over 200 suppliers to showcase their latest trucks, trailers, tyres, safety equipment and more.
Attended by exhibitors from every area of the sector, RTX 2024 truly is the biggest event in the road transportation calendar.
