With on-site servicing, defect rectification, bespoke installations, and roadside recovery, WG Tanker ensures minimal disruption to your operations. WG Tankers have worked closely with Qualitech Environmental Services on 4 x tankers. 3 were refurbished and modified to our specification for drinking water carbon. This work was carried out to the highest standard with no exception. The 4th tanker was a new ADR vacuum rated tanker that was also modified to our specification and again to the highest standard with no exception. All deadlines were on time. A professional and courteous service is what we received.
As a relatively small haulage operation, running 4 trucks and 4 trailers on a single contract obligation, downtime is a major cost, and an inconvenience for my customer. Fortunately, the team at WG Tankers know and appreciate this. To say that they act rapidly to get my tankers operational again is an understatement. We have traded with WG Tankers since 2011. During this time, we have 1. purchased seven tankers, 2. had blowers fitted to five tractor units, 3. lost count of the tankers on short and long-term hire and 4. had all our pressure testing completed with no failures. WG Tanker have also modified a number of tankers in our fleet to improve the discharge of problematic products. The latest generation of our design fabricated in stainless is still going strong after three years of service. Nothing is too much trouble and the team often respond at extremely short notice to keep our fleet mobile.

As a specialist in the repair and maintenance of Dry Powder Bulk Road Tankers, WG Tankers have been for many years, and continue to be, a reliable and trustworthy supplier to Breedon Cement. Their support in reducing operational downtime through maintenance and parts availability is second to none. This is complimented by them being a distributor for ZVVZ Road Tankers, a service which Breedon has taken full advantage of with the purchase of a fleet of new road tankers maintained by WG. In short, there is no challenge too big nor job too small that WG cannot do, and will always do to the highest of standards, that and they are a great bunch to work with too.
We use WG Tanker services for a variety of works, including re-spraying used machines to give them a brand new look as well as welding bin liners and side extensions to some of our ADT bins. The whole team at WG are extremely helpful and have a can do attitude to deliver great results in a cost effective and timely manner. They have become our go to people for painting and welding.
At Wincanton, and as part of our Construction fleet, we operate some 122 bulk powder tankers. These are invariable gravity loaded, pressure discharge tankers, which by the very nature of these all alloy tankers require specialist maintenance to ensure we continually meet the requirement of operating a large number of tanks within scope of the P.S.S.R regulations etc. We have been operating this fleet since 2012 and have found very reassuring back up from WG Tankers in supporting the maintenance of these tankers and associated discharge compressors, which ranges from routine maintenance, to specialist major vessel repair involving recertification, and when required fit up for new compressors to our traction fleet. WG Tankers over these last 9 years have given us excellent support, which is born out of a very refreshing attitude of “YES WE CAN”
